The world’s fastest Windows file search. A proprietary invention at Interlinked.
Every file name cached and compressed ahead of time, so the answer is already waiting when you ask. Save, rename or delete a file and it is up to date in milliseconds.
One machine. Every tool.
Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 64 GB, NVMe, Windows 11, 4.47M files.
Find a file by name
Search inside every file
An evolution of agentic workflow.
There is no right folder to open any more: open your agent anywhere, and every file is already in reach. On the same machine, an AI agent looking for one file:
6m 57s16 ms
time to the file
711
tool calls
~58%~0%
of session tokens spent hunting
Why a smarter model does not fix it: when 58% of a session is spent finding files, an infinitely fast model makes the whole session only about 1.7× faster (1 ÷ 0.58). The slowest step sets the ceiling, so the step to fix is the search.
How it works. Three parts.
Cached
Every file name and every file’s contents, compressed into one index ahead of time, the git-ignored files a search in one folder never sees included. A search reads the index, never the disk.
Live
A saved file is searchable again in about a millisecond, under 30 ms at worst. The index never lies about a file you just wrote.
For agents
One signed install wires up 19 AI clients over MCP, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex among them, with no settings to edit.
Free in the Interlinked app for Windows.
About 44 MB at rest; the index about 0.1% of the drive.
