Pricing · big-file hosting · 2026
100GB costs $14 at Unity, $10 at Diversion and $7 at GitHub. Here it is $5.99.
We read every big-file host's own pricing page on October 1, 2026 and put the numbers side by side: storage, downloads, seats, and the bill for a real team. One line stays flat however many people you hire.
Every company that hosts big files for version control publishes, somewhere, what 100GB costs. Put the numbers in one row and the spread is more than double: $5.99 here, $7.00 for Git LFS on GitHub, $10 at Diversion, $14 at Unity. Perforce does not publish its P4 Cloud storage rate at all.
Storage is the small part of the bill, though. The big part is the line that grows every time you hire someone, and that is where the gap stops being cents.
The whole rate card, one row per question
Six products, each read on its own pricing page on October 1, 2026. Anchorpoint is here because studios compare it; it is a desktop client and stores no files itself.

Downloads: the charge nobody puts on the front page
Every time someone clones, a build machine pulls, or a client opens a link, bytes leave the host. GitHub bills $8.75 for every 100GB of that, to the repository owner, forks and CI included. Unity bills $10. We charge the same $5.99 as storage: one number for both meters.
Diversion lists no download price. Perforce includes 64 GiB a term and bills a daily overage rate it does not publish.
Add people. Watch which line moves.
Hold the project still, one terabyte stored and one terabyte downloaded a month, and add people. Three lines stay flat, because three of these hosts charge only for bytes. Ours is the lowest of the three. The line that climbs is a per-person fee.
| 5 people | 10 people | 20 people | 50 people | 100 people | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interlinked | $113.81 | $113.81 | $113.81 | $113.81 | $113.81 |
| Git LFS on GitHub | $145.11 | $145.11 | $145.11 | $145.11 | $145.11 |
| Unity Version Control | $226.50 | $226.50 | $226.50 | $226.50 | $226.50 |
| Diversion | $90 | $150 | $400 | $1,340 | $3,590 |
| Perforce P4 Cloud | $195 + overage | $390 + overage | $780 + overage | $1,950 + overage | $3,900 + overage |
Diversion's Indie plan is the honest exception at the small end: its first five seats are free and it lists no download charge, so a team of up to six on a terabyte pays it less than us. From the seventh person, ours is the lowest published price on the chart, and the gap only widens: at 100 people it is $113.81 here against $3,590 at Diversion and $3,900 in Perforce seats alone.
A 20-person studio, one terabyte, one month
Git LFS on GitHub's Free plan is the closest, and it is not Lore: it stores every version of a big file whole, which is the next section. On GitHub's Team plan the same month adds $80 in seats.
The rate is half the price. The other half is how many bytes get counted.
Git LFS keeps every version of a big file whole. Save a 1.5 GiB video eleven times with a one-megabyte change each time and it stores eleven videos. Lore, the engine under our hosting, stores the video once and then only the changed chunks: we measured a one-megabyte edit inside that video at 1.14 MB on the wire.
Same work, eleven times the billable bytes. A cheaper rate on top of fewer bytes is how the flat line stays low.
Check the number yourself
$ npm install -g @interlinked/cli# or: bun add -g @interlinked/cli$ ifile auth create# an account, from the terminal$ ifile auth verify# the six-digit code from your inbox$ ifile push ./MyProject# prints the linkThe free rung needs a confirmed email address: 2 projects, 30GB stored, 100GB moved a month. Past it, $5.99 a month opens unlimited projects with 100GB of each, then $5.99 per further 100GB. Storage is billed on the largest reading taken during the month, in whole 100GB blocks, so the bill can be worked out in advance.
How we counted
Every price is the vendor's own, read on its pricing page on October 1, 2026. List prices only; discounts and quotes are not public.
The team is 1 TB stored and 1 TB downloaded in a month. GitHub is LFS on the Free plan (10 GiB of each included); Team adds $4 a person and 250 GiB of each. Diversion is Indie up to 20 people (eligibility applies), Pro to 50, Studio beyond. Unity has no seat charges since March 1, 2026.
Perforce is seats alone. P4 Cloud includes 64 GiB of storage and 64 GiB of egress; its overage rates are not on its public pages, so every Perforce figure here is a floor.
Our 100GB is 100 GiB, about 7% more than 100 GB, so comparing it with 100 GB elsewhere only understates us.
The short version
- Storage per 100GB a month: Interlinked $5.99, Git LFS on GitHub $7.00, Diversion $10, Unity $14. Perforce does not publish its P4 Cloud rate.
- Downloads per 100GB: Interlinked $5.99, GitHub $8.75, Unity $10. Diversion lists no download price; Perforce includes 64 GiB a term.
- No per-person fee at any team size. For 1 TB stored and downloaded a month: $113.81 at 5, 20 or 100 people.
- From seven people up, the lowest published price among these hosts: at 20 people $113.81 against $145.11 (GitHub LFS), $226.50 (Unity), $400 (Diversion) and $780 in Perforce seats before overage.
- Diversion's Indie plan is cheaper for teams of up to six, because its first five seats are free.
- Free to start: 30GB stored and 100GB moved a month with a confirmed email, against 10 GiB at GitHub and 25 GB at Unity.
- Git LFS stores every version of a big file whole; Lore stores only changed chunks, so fewer bytes are billed in the first place.
